From the Worst of Mankind

From the Worst of Mankind

 Imaam Bin Baaz

This Hadeeth is reported on the authority of Ibn Mas’ood (رضي الله عنه) reachingback to the Prophet ﷺ,

Verily from the worst of mankind are those whom the Hour will be established upon and they are alive, and those whom have taken the graves as places of worship (masaajid).
This is because the Hour will only be established upon the worst of creation. As far as the believers their souls will be taken by a pleasant wind prior to this (i.e. the establishment of the Hour).

Those who take the graves as places of worship are from the worst of mankind because they are a means and cause for the people falling into shirk (polytheism), innovation, and erroneous acts. This is because once the people view such a thing as correct they will naturally conclude and say, “Since they have built (a place of worship over this grave, the occupant of it) must then be supplicated to and called on in times of peril.

However, there is no problem if the grave is in close proximity to the cemetery. This is because the walkway in that case will separate between the two, and this is superior (to masaajid being on top of graves).

This is correct just as we have previously mentioned (when speaking about) extremism, that results in the one whom they are extreme about being taken as an object of worship instead of or along with Allah. Due to this the people exaggerated the status of some of the righteous. They thus, took them as objects of worship instead of or along with Allah. Examples of this are like the graves of Al Hassan (radiAllahu ‘anhu), Al Hussain (radi Allahu ‘anhu), Faatimah (radi Allahu ‘anha) and other than them. This nation has likewise exaggerated the status of the Messenger ﷺ and consequently fallen into (shirk by) worshipping him (by supplicating to him and the like) and seeking his aid in times of peril instead of or along with Allah; this (also happened) in the times of antiquity when the people of Nuh ﷺ exaggerated the status of the righteous until they eventually worshipped them (which is polytheism) as we have already mentioned.

The One That Takes From His Beard is Not a Student of Knowledge – Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzaan

The One That Takes From His Beard is Not a Student of Knowledge

– Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzaan

As Salaamu Alaikum

The questioner says:

It has spread amongst the students of knowledge, i.e. the taking (of hair) from ones beard, so some advice is desired.

Ash-Shaykh Al-`Allaamah Salih Al-Fawzaan:

They are not students of knowledge nor scholars, the ones that take (hair) from the beard are not students of knowledge, the students of knowledge are the ones that act upon the Sunnah, and the Sunnah is to leave the beard, the one that takes from his beard is not from the students of knowledge! Yes.

The Link Between Blessings and Gratitude

The Link Between Blessings and Gratitude

It is reported that ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib – Allāh be pleased with him – said:

"Blessings arrive with gratitude [to Allāh], and gratitude is connected with more [blessings], and the two are tied together: more blessings from Allāh will never stop unless gratitude from the servant stops".

Ibn Abī Al-Dunyā, Al-Shukr article 18.

Taking the pills that prevent menses in order to perform fasting

Taking the pills that prevent menses

in order to perform fasting

Shaykh Muhammad Ali Ferkous

Fatwa n°: 919
Category: Fatwas about fasting

The ruling regarding taking the pills that prevent menses in order to perform fasting

Question:

What is the ruling regarding taking the pills that prevent menses during Ramadan in order to fast the whole month, without resorting to making up fasting?

Answer:

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessing be upon whom Allah sent as a mercy to the Worlds, upon his Family, his Companions and his Brothers till the Day of Resurrection.
The considered opinion is that the woman keeps her nature, without using the pills that delay menses in order to perform fasting. She is rewarded for her worship by not fasting and not doing other acts of worship, due to menses, which are predestined by Allah عزَّ وجلَّ. She will not miss the reward by Allah’s Will. She will worship Allah عزَّ وجلَّ later by making up fasting, knowing that Dhikr (remembrance of Allah), which is one of the best actions, is allowed for her during menses, as the Prophet صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم was used to remember Allah عزَّ وجلَّ in all cases(1). In case she used the pills and fasted, her fasting, then, is correct and she does not have to make it up.

The perfect knowledge belongs to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. Our last prayer is all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Peace and blessing be upon our Prophet, his Family, his Companions and his Brothers till the Day of Resurrection.

The Jaahil (ignorant) Who

Speaks Without Knowledge

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy on him, said,

“The greatest calamity is from an ignorant person
who has compound ignorance,
who argues with you without knowledge,
speaks without knowledge,
speaks to the common folk without knowledge,
speaks to the scholars without knowledge and in an argumentative manner, and
when you discuss something with him, he is the most ignorant of Allaah’s slaves.”

Mentioning Allah While Using The Bathroom: Shaykh Salih Alish-Shaykh

Mentioning Allah While Using The Bathroom:

 Shaykh Salih Alish-Shaykh

This is hated, so it’s befitting for the Muslims to avoid it. Ibn Umar stated that a man passed by Allah’s Messenger -sallahu alayhi wa salaam- while he was urinating and conveyed the salaams, however the Messenger -sallahu alayhi wa salaam- did not respond. That was because returning the salaams is dhikr.

The Woman Who Is Severely Beaten By Her Husband Has The Right To Ask For A Khul'ah

The Woman Who Is Severely Beaten By Her

Husband Has The Right To Ask For A Khul'ah

Author: Shaykh Fu’aad al-‘Amri
Translator: Abu Yusuf Khaleefah
Source: Asked on Istiqamah Hajj & Umrah Beginning of Rajab 1437/ Friday April 8th 2016

Question: Is it permissible for a woman who has been beaten by her husband to the point that she has been hospitalized to seek a Khul'ah?

Answer: Yes it is permissible for her to do so because this situation constitutes bad and harmful living conditions. She would give back the dowry and be released from the marriage by way of the Khul'ah. Rather, if she was in a place where there's an Islamic Judge, the judge would dissolve the marriage due to this abuse...

A Few Characteristics of the Haddādiyyah Sect

A Few Characteristics of the Haddādiyyah Sect

Author: Abu Dihyah Dawud Adib

It is important that we understand the following point very well: the Haddādiyyah Sect is extremely dangerous! We should always ask Allāh not to make us like them, to not cause us to emulate them while wearing the garments of Salafiyyah. For indeed, whoever imitates a people is from them!

Two of their characteristics are:

Fanatacism towards personalities, which is a common characteristic among the People of Blind Bigotry and Partisanship.
The Haddadi sect provides moral, intellectual, theological and logistic support to Dā'ish.

🔈 Abū Bakr bin Abī Dāwūd said in his Hā'iyyah:

ولا تعتقد رأي الخوارج إنه *** مقال لمن يهواه يردي ويفضح

And do not hold a belief like the Khawārij; for indeed it is a position only held by those who desire it, and it is destructive and disgraceful!

----------------

Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān explains this line of poetry saying:

فمٓذهبُ الخٓوارِجِ يٓتفرّعُ منه فروعٌ قبيحةٌ فلا تعتقده أو تمل إليه بل اعتبره مذهباً باطلاً، و هذا في الذي يرى رأيٓهم و لو لم يفعل مثلٓ فعلِهم، فكٓيفٓ بالذي يرى رأيٓهم و يُنفِّذُه؟

Thus, this is the methodology of the Khawārij, from which sprung other repugnant branches [of methodologies and principles]. Therefore, do not hold these beliefs nor incline towards them, instead consider them false opinions [principles and concepts]. Keeping in mind that this is referring to those who only hold these opinions [principles and concepts] yet they have not carried out these actions. So how much more those who also hold these corrupted beliefs and concepts and carry them out?

⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕⭕

Shaykh Rabī described the Haddaadis, saying:

الحدادية لهم أصل خبيث، وهو أنهم إذا ألصقوا بإنسان قولاً هو بريء منه ويعلن براءته منه، فإنهم يصرون على الاستمرار على رمي ذلك المظلوم بما ألصقوه به، فهم بهذا الأصل الخبيث يفوقون الخوارج

The Haddadis have an evil principle with them which is [the following]: Whenever they have attached to a [Salafi] individual that which he is in reality innocent of and [that Salafi has already] announced openly that he is indeed innocent of it - (i.e. what he is being falsely accused of) - they [the Haddādis] continue to hurl those accusations against that oppressed [Salafi] individual with that which they [the Haddadis] have [falsely] assigned to him.

Consequently, [by utilizing this technique] of their repugnant principle [they have concocted] they have exceeded the [methodology] of the Khawarij

********

In conclusion, we should check ourselves to see if any of these filthy principles have crept into our minds, hearts, or behaviors.

Oh Allāh! Do not make us like the people we warn against!
